Decking begins with forming. This will start after the tile and coping are
finished. The coping is the stone around the pool which sets the finished
height of the deck. Pool Decking.

The deck guys will come in
and start grading and forming up the deck to handle drainage, slope, and any
steps benches, or other item on the deck. This is the time I recommend
you get the outdoor furniture out and set it in the dirt. This gives you a
feel for the size of the deck. At this time you may want to make the deck
bigger, or
change locations. I also recommend that you mark areas where you may want
umbrella sleeves. The deck will be leveled, reinforcing bar installed, and
the rebar bonded for safety. When that is done you are ready to pour.
You will be given instructions on when to walk on it.

What the top coatings
or sealers will be put on. There are many types of deck finishes. Price may
be a determining factor in the type of deck you choose. some examples of
pool decking, are
Seeded Aggregate, Salt Finishes, Colored Salt finishes, Stamp concrete, Acid
Etch, and capping the deck with Kool Deck, Tile or a Flagstone material.
